What is the Amber Flag?

​

The Amber Flag initiative is an initiative run by Pieta House which recognises the individual efforts of primary and secondary schools, youth reach, third level institutions, community groups, clubs and companies to create healthy, inclusive environments that support mental wellbeing.  

 

In order to promote positive mental health and wellbeing at Glebe N.S., we have been busy setting up an Amber Flag committee to take part in this  Amber Flag Initiative.  We are very proud to announce that we have been successful in our Amber Flag application and been awarded the Amber Flag for 2023/2024  as a result of the hard working amber flag team and the whole school community coming together to create a safe, positive and healthy attitude towards our physical and mental  well-being.
